Job Description

A Construction Site Manager oversees daily site operations, ensuring projects finish safely, on time, and within budget by coordinating workers, managing resources (materials, budget), enforcing quality/safety standards, solving problems, and reporting progress to stakeholders, essentially bridging planning with physical build execution. Key duties include supervising trades, hiring subcontractors, maintaining schedules, conducting safety inspections, and managing paperwork like reports and drawings.

Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight: Manage all on-site activities from start to finish, ensuring adherence to plans, budgets, and timelines.
Team & Resource Management: Hire, schedule, and supervise construction workers; order materials; manage site logistics.
Health & Safety: Conduct safety inspections, implement protocols, and resolve hazards; this is a top priority.
Quality Control: Verify workmanship meets required standards and matches specifications.
Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and report progress.
Problem-Solving: Address issues and challenges as they arise to keep the project moving.
Documentation: Prepare site reports, check drawings, and maintain records.
